Introduction to main task

I am now starting my main task and will be creating a music magazine and I have chosen 'Rock' as the genre for my magazine. I will also be creating a contents pages and a double page spread on music (interview), I have been researching common conventions of music magazines and I will follow these conventions as my secondary research shows audiences respond significantly to the layout of magazines. I will create a Monkey Survey in order to fulfil my main task to see what designs and star vehicles my target audience prefers. By doing this the survey will give me a clear idea to what my actual target audience, in order to target my magazine around them.

I will be analysing two music magazine covers and contents pages to see what the common conventions of the selected magazines are and follow these conventions myself in order to create my music magazine successfully.
