Treatment of own film

My own film will resemble the common conventions of a typical psychological thriller, with the eerie atmosphere and darkness of the lighting. I have looked into and tried different shot types to see what would look the most effective in my trailer. While filming I have realized that a range of different techniques and shot would be more effective because I have focused on long shots and establishing shots to begin with and I need a tripod to ensure that my filming is of the best quality as possible with the equipment I have.
