Makeup in movies
Makeup in movies varies in certain situations. For example in a scene
where the characters are in a nightclub, usually the makeup (for women)
is dark smokey eyes and more heavy makeup than usual, this is shown in
the image to the right. Whereas in general, makeup for women in more regular
scenes is quite neutral and natural like the image shown on the left.
I have chosen this particular tutorial because it shows how to apply simplistic makeup in an easy to use way. I will be using this tutorial to style my star vehicle and make my trailer look professional by the look of the characters.Makeup is a very important aspect of a film or a trailer even though most audience dont even take notice or appreciate it at the time. However if the star vehicles are not visually attractive the audience are less attracted to the characters. By using makeup this allows the characters to become visually attractive and appeal to the target audience.
